This is a short story based on a girl named Cassandra, a girl overcome with depression who eventually takes her own life. But before she leaves, she writes a letter to her best friend detailing a story. Her story.

When Nebraska decided to sacrifice herself to save the people she loved, she didn't expect to wake up and find out almost everything about her changed. Her hair, her eyes, her speed, and her appetite. She then realizes that not only is she no longer human, but she has to spend the rest of her life living with two vampires. One of them annoys her to the point where she wants to stab herself, the other has anger issues that make her want to avoid him. To add to that, she also has to endure their 'training' to teach her how to use her abilities wisely. If that wasn't stressful enough, those two didn't exactly tell her how many hunters and vampires alike wanted them dead. It's a kill or be killed life Nebraska got herself stuck in, and she's not sure if she'll be ready to stake whoever comes her way.

Preston Arsement ; a normal 19 year old boy who saved a girl from being killed by a car 3 years ago. Savannah Quinn ; The girl who needs saving again. Savannah and Preston have changed since then. Sabrina is still an illegal dhampir and Drew is still an exiled prince of a kingdom left in ruins. They soon find out that no matter how far they run, they can't escape all their problems. Times may have changed, but everybody stays the same. Drew and Sabrina may have promised to stay together until the very end, but neither of them ever expected their limits to be pushed this far.
