Gabriel is a cynical shell of a man, and Jack is trying desperately to fix the bridges so the pair can continue to function. He's searched Hell's Kitchen from top to bottom, hacked into the FBI base, was taken captive & is still hell bent on his mission. In the process of searching for his family's murderer, he ran into another marine. She too was hell bent on a personal mission with a vendetta. Sharing similar goals, The Punisher teams up with this young woman known as Nadya Krukigael. In the line of duty, many had known her as "Carbine". Together, Punisher & Carbine worked side by side in an attempt to take down those that had wronged them & killed their families. The duo has been working together for two years now, both breaking a code to themselves to never grow close to anyone again. But there's something between the two that can't seem to let them separate from one another. Their fears seemed to be silenced around one another, and the pain faded away. It was easy to breathe again. With their pain fading, perhaps it is now time to release the ghosts of the past and seek a brighter future. *Note, this is something I know is fairly out of character for Frank, but with having someone by his side that understands his pain, it makes me wonder if he would ever be able to love someone again the way he learned to love Maria.*
