Stef (a cop) and Lena(VP) are dating but neither have children. Callie is being fostered by Justina Marks but soon Stef and Lena find out she is being horribly abused and Stef takes her in. It has been a few months that Callie has been living with Stef and she has something to ask her but must deal with the demons of her past. Heavy Stef/Cal.

So this is a story about Stef and Lena and it's just a made up thing about how they met. In this story, none of the kids are in the picture and neither is Mike. Stef is a police officer living on the 5th floor of an apartment building and Lena is a vice principal living on the first floor of that same apartment building. Enjoy:)

They had a nasty divorce in which Stef lost custody of Callie and all her funds. Now living with her mother in a small apartment she has come out. Stef just moved to California. There she meets a women named Lena. They quickly grow a friendship together...and maybe more, well at least Stef hopes. But Lena may not be the same as Stef. Kind of a fanfic of Stef Foster(teri polo) and Lena Adams (Sherri Saum), but completely different life's.

For Lena the one person keeping her from happiness and love is her fiance, Mason. For Stef, the one person holding her back is her boss, Captain Mason Hazelwood. The two find a way to risk it all just to have a life together. But it's not always a good idea to dance around a sleeping monster. I do not own The Fosters or the characters from the Fosters.

After realizing she's gay Stef Foster packs up for California with her 12 year old angry daughter, Callie, leaving her marriage of fifteen years to Mike Foster. As the two embark on a cross country road trip together she meets another single mother with two children on a similar path of self discovery.
