This is a Chicago Fire short story about Matt Casey begging deployed out to Afghanistan with the US Army. Matts had a huge thing for the PIC on Ambo 61 for as long as he's know her. Gabby Dawson was the one girl that could stay strong after everything the Firehouse went through. Although he was, and still is, an Army Lieutenant who had been though the unthinkable, he still can't find the nerve to tell her how he really feels...Things went horribly wrong the last time he was out in service, and so when he was discharged, the fire department seemed like his calling. How will being called back into action affect him and his work colleagues, and will he ever be able to tell the woman he loves how he really feels before its to late?

Hello hello!! Here is a new story for you :D Originally, I've written this months ago, and it's already published somewhere. But I want to give it to you HERE. I wrote this because there is a situation in which the firefihgters "never" faced during the first 3 seasons (4 now), and I wanted it to be done ^^ It takes place in the beginning of season 4. Gabby is still pregnant, Severide had his lieutenant badge back and Patterson stayed at the firehouse, under Kelly's orders. SUMMARY: During a call on Humboldt Park, one of the firefighters found a bomb in one of the room of the house they had been called. But the bomb exploded et let four of them under the ruin of this house. Encircled by fires, flames, debris and smoke, completely stuck, they had to survive to this hell until the arriving of the rescue...

This is a Dawsey season 6 finale inspired story. This is everything that happens post the finale and drama! Gabby and Matt have been excited about trying for their very own baby. Risks come up that change their views and what the future has in store for them. A few fights about their future turn wrong and everything is up in the air. Gabby knows she needs to do something for herself. Is puerto Rico the answer? Will they have a baby, adopt, or are things just not meant to be? What will happen?
