Dean is in his last year of college with his best friend Alfie and after deciding they don't want to do another year in the dorms, they get a small apartment of their own. Money is tight as both men try to do schooling full time and hold down jobs. It's not easy, but Alfie's older brother Cas is happy to help. If they need groceries or can't make their rent, he takes care of it so they can focus on their studies. And so what if Cas shows up at the apartment with increasing frequency, even when his brother isn't home, and so what if maybe his gaze lingers a little too long on Dean. He's just being friendly, right? So why does Dean's heart beat faster every time the man is near, and what the hell is going on with those damn butterflies in his stomach every time Cas touches him? It's nothing. Right? Maybe not...

Dean's phone has decided to stop working. He debates on whether he wants to make the trip down to a store to get it looked at or whether to just call in to his carrier and hope their tech support could fix the problem remotely. He had called in a few times over the years, getting a different rep every time, but when a sexy, gravely voice answers this time, Dean is immediately intrigued. Fluffy at the end, and so sweet. I just wanted to write a cute little piece today. :)

Cas sees a little spiritual shop tucked in between the auto shop and the Pride Center he volunteers at once a week. He's curious but can't think of a good enough reason to go in, until the shop's owner literally stops him out on the curb one evening and invites him inside for tea. The man, Sam is friendly and nice, making Cas think that maybe be passed judgment when he shouldn't have. Then he meet's Sam's handsome brother, a man with some very interesting talents... Cas' world is about to get turned upside down, he just doesn't know it yet.

After rescuing his vessel's daughter Castiel sets out on a life of his own feeling like a failure now that he is human again. He makes his way to Chicago, discards his phone, his last tie to the Winchesters, and takes on a job as a janitor in a school, but no matter how far he runs away from Kansas, he can't escape his feelings for Dean. He thinks Dean doesn't want him after their last altercation and it's not until he finds an email from Dean in his inbox that he is reminded of everything he left behind, and the only place that was ever really home to him. With some help from Charlie, Dean is able to track Cas down, but will he have the guts to finally open up about how he really feels? Read and find out. Comment if you like it. It was suppose to be a one shot but it's getting too long. There is some smut later down the line, but it was fun to write. I'll keep adding on to it until it's done.

Gabe just got out of a relationship and needs ice cream to drown his imaginary sorrows in (really, he just needs the ice cream), so he drags his brother down to the gas station on the corner to pick some up. Dean and Sam happen to walk into the same store to pick up some essentials they'd run out of. They overhear Gabe and Cas arguing over which one of them is cuter, Dean or Sam. Flirting ensues since there is no way Dean is walking out of that store without at least saying hello to the man with the blue eyes and the sex hair, and Gabe's not letting Sam escape quite so easily either....

Castiel Novak is the divorced dad of two. His daughter Angela is struggling as a transgender teenager and he wants to be the support she needs. When she starts looking online for guidance she comes across a once a month meeting for the LGBQT community in their area, and she asks her dad if they can go. He agrees, anything for his daughter. He's gay himself and figures it might be a good way to meet people for them both. Never does he expect to meet Dean Winchester, the most beautiful man he has ever laid eyes on. Dean is there in support of his own daughter, but has issues with his own sexuality too as he still feels the need to hide the fact that he is bi. Sparks fly when they meet, but is that enough? This is a meeting and there's flirting and touching, but no real fluff. You can find this and more that I have written over on AO3. Same name, Thatwriterlady. All the heavy fluff and smut is over there for obvious reasons. I'll try to add more non smut stories here too though.

Cas is a new homeowner, thrilled with the huge backyard he has so many plans for. As winter turns to spring and then to summer, he works diligently at creating thriving gardens filled with flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Slowly he's getting to know his neighbors, though he has not yet met the man whose backyard backs right up to his. He had definitely noticed the man though. It's hard not to, he's gorgeous. While out watering his flowers one hot, summer morning Cas learns a few things about his new neighbor. One, he has done a little gardening of his own as there are flower beds under the kitchen window Two, his neighbor likes to walk around in nothing more than women's panties It can't possibly get more awkward. Right? Wrong.

The concept of pet names goes completely over Cas' head after hearing Dean call him by a term of endearment. After consulting Sam to gain an understanding of why people call one another terms of endearment based on sweet pastries. Sam thinks he's slick with the explanation he gives, deciding he's given the best advice possible, except Cas takes it quite literally. Hilarity ensues as Cas tries to express his affection for Dean with his own special "Castiel" brand of pet names.
