The year is 950 (NOTE: This goes up to 955, which Is SEASON 2! As more seasons are produced, the time period will be updated. But, the story will come to an end eventually.) and the Special Operations Squad are out on an expedition with other cadets, in order to take out their plan of killing the female Titan, soon after finding out that it is non other than a fellow Soldier in the military police, Annie Leonhart, they dive even deeper into searching for success. During this, all of Squad Levi head after the titan, Oluo and Petra using sync strategy to temporarily blind Annie from all vision. An unexpected turn takes place as Petra slightly has her back turned, heading from the scene, Annie's eye seems to heal way before the limit of 30 seconds, allowing her to see. This however, takes a turn for the worse as the Female Titan immediately heads in Petra's direction. Unable to react on time to Annie's attack, this results in her death. Witnessed by Eren as she it kicked against the trunk of a tree, spine shattered and crushed. At such a horrific sight, anger flows through Oluo on which he attempts an attack, getting him killed instantly also. Eren being the only remaining one alive from the whole of Squad Levi takes it into his own hands, thus transforming into a titan. Soon after their deaths, Levi arrives with Mikasa to check in on Eren but to the Captain's horror, ends with seeing his whole team dead. He took an extra few moments to look down at Petra...what was going through his head? On their travel back, once sure she and others were dead and wrapped up, he ordered those to be rolled off the wagon and so this went forth. Levi seemed hesitant, glancing back one last time at Petra. Everyone is sure she is long gone. But when a new comrade joins the team and is immediately taken into squad Levi, curiosity peeks. A familiar face to many...But however, she's dead, right? We made sure before hand. Petra Ral IS dead.

This takes place shortly after Annie is frozen in Crystal. Petra makes her appearance, at the Tower, but it's different from what you'd expect.
