Sure, his father left when he was 10 years old, but he had his mother, who worked hard and taught Alex that the only way to get anywhere in this world was to work for what he wanted. His mother always made enough money to support the two of them, and Alex adopted that work ethic when he moved out of his mom's home. A cozy apartment, a good job with long hours to distract his time with, and a good set of friends. Yeah, his life wasn't too bad. Both men's lives changed one day in a pouring rainstorm. A chance encounter leads to an act of kindness, and so much more.

Peridot never liked fire. It was dangerous and reckless and definitely not something she'd ever fool around with, her mother always told her never to play with fire. I finally fucking did it! SOLd finished and my writer's block is gone just in time! I started this waaayyy before Spring Break and never finished it and I feel so bad cause it took me so long to create it and I wanted to write a continuation to that other lemon and I reread it over and over again and couldn't rack my brain for a prompt to continue it so here's a completely different lemon for FrUK!
