Her mother died on the voyage, her sister was sent back to Italy, and once making it pass Ellis Island- Her twin brother abandons her. Five years later, in 1899, Bambina now lives with the Bronx Newsies as the only girl. Struggling to make ends meet while saving up money to go home, she has became accustomed to her new life. But what happens when in a matter of days, her life takes yet another drastic turn?

Finch has been in the refuge for years, making friends where she can and trying to survive on little to no food and a beating almost every day. It's not the best 'home', you can't even really call it that, but at least she's not alone. However, when her best friend gets sick, she soon finds herself escaping the refuge to find medicine, making new friends, and joining a strike. Will she make it through this crazy new experience? [ I made the really bad cover btw and I don't own Newsies but my OCs and some of the plot in this story is mine. Not as many people are out on the streets, which means not as many people are there to buy papes. Money gets scarce and it's not like any of them can afford a winter coat. Wintertime is chaotic enough as it is, but when you're a newsboy trying to juggle a forbidden relationship, the death of many friends, and the return of a psychotic family member? Yeah, things can get a little... destructive. While I am fully aware that it is not always used as a slur, I just couldn't bring myself to have one of the boys say the 'f' word. (You know the one) - This is going to be a mix of the 1992 Newsies and the Broadway Newsies, so I apologize in advance if you get a little confused. I just can't decide which is better, but for some characters I can only see them as the 1992 version or the broadway version. - Main difference: The relationship is going to be Jack and Katherine, meaning that neither Sarah nor Denton exist.
