Charles Book used to love his job. With promises of exploration, fame and glory, Charles had worked his way through the ranks just to get a shot at the big time, and he had made it. After twenty years he had been assigned to Outpost 21, the farthest human outpost in the solar system. Only problem was, nothing ever happened way out here. With nothing to stare at but empty space, Charles was losing heart. But in the blink of an eye, that is about to change forever.
