Miller Spencer knows that it's normal to love your best friend. Ace has been his best friend since forever. So, of course, it's completely natural to want to kiss him. It is typical to get jealous when you see him with someone else. It is absolutely ordinary that you may or may not have certain fantasies that aren't civilized enough to be told out loud. It is simply impossible that Miller would make the grave mistake of falling for his best friend in the all too familiar and cliche trope. Or maybe, Ace is trouble and Miller is falling for him. (TW: mild to moderate.)

Audrey Juarez is a college student with the world at her fingertips. She volunteers at a homeless shelter in her free time, hoping to rebuild a broken system from the ground up. While there, she meets Evan Byrd, a beautiful young man with a troubled past and a gorgeous singing voice. Drawn to his sweet smile time and time again, Audrey has to ask herself: does she want to help Evan back onto his feet, or let him sweep her off of hers? "What's the difference between a book and a musician?" I ask. Evan thinks for a moment. "No idea." I smile. "You should always judge a musician by their covers." Sylas hates parties, but when he's invited to a fancy charity ball, he goes along for his sister's sake. After inadvertently stealing a magical relic, he finds himself caught in a deadly intrigue, on the run, and falling in love with a man as dangerous as the magic now bound to his life. ***** At twenty-three, Sylas Lovecraft has yet to find his Sign. Signs allow Crafters to channel magic into spells. From the stereotypical wand to crochet hooks and stirring spoons, Signs can be anything used to Create. When a Crafter dies, their Sign becomes a Relic: an artifact retaining traces of its former owner's power. Highly prized and valuable, Relics are often sold at auction to the highest bidder. While accompanying his sister to a charity ball held by the powerful Spellwright family, Sylas accidentally steals a valuable Relic, unexpectedly finds his Sign, and lands in a world of trouble. Because the Spellwrights want their Relic back, and Signs are only Relics if the Crafter is dead. (Book One of the Devil's Song Trilogy) Content Warning: language and light sexuality. Mia Evian has to piece together the mystery of Zack Maddox, the bad boy whose life she saved, while simultaneously keeping her own crumbling life together before Zack ends up in trouble again - or worse yet, dead. ***** This is a love story. When Zack Maddox, a notorious bad boy, meets Mia Evian, a nobody with a disdain for arrogant pretty boys, the two teenagers' lives are thrown into chaos. Zack is a mystery Mia can't unravel, and as her family is torn apart by her father's infidelity, her newfound thrill-seeking attitude is the only thing keeping her head above water. As Mia's behaviour turns increasingly reckless, Zack becomes the lifeboat keeping her afloat. Mia thought she had a good grasp of the world, but she's beginning to realise the people around her are far more complex than she could have ever imagined. This is a love story - just not the kind you might expect. ***** Content warning: This story contains mild drug and alcohol use and themes of mental health, self-harm, and suicide. STORY 4 BOOK 2 of Loving November Grace Five years ago I was swept up in this storm. The storm of him. And for a beautiful second, our clouds, they collided. Our skin hydrated. Loving the way the rain felt across our nerves. The electricity, the lightning burning us. And this storm it broke and fixed me all at once. It tore down everything in it's path, destroyed walls and melted ice I thought was forever going to be inside of me, but it also nurtured my heart and I grew. I grew and I survived everything after; all the consequences of loving him. We survived. I was left with memories, and imprints that only whispered to be heard. And even they faded over the years. I wasn't ever going to see him again and that was okay. It was okay until it wasn't. Until it wasn't a reality. And he walked right into my little coffee shop. Because when two points are destined to touch, when paths are pushed together, forced to cross- There's no rule that they only cross once. If the universe wants it, it will always find a way to make the connection. Cole and I lost each other, and I thought that was fate, that is what was destined for us. It was the safest thing for us all. It still is. And that is fine. But when we did meet again, all those years later- it wasn't. Nothing at all was fine. There are so many reasons why I should have stayed away, so many reasons why that fire, that fire should have gone out by now, and nothing but ash should be left. Yet it burned. Us. Them. It was destructive and neither of us even wanted it. But. It's us. Our hearts are old friends, our skin, etched with each other's fingertips.
