Having grown up believing that the Devil is God, Avalon Kandor and the rest of the youth living in the city of Eden spend their teenage years in pursuit of the one thing that matters: the title of a Pure. Awarded upon the completion of their education, it is both expected and an extraordinary honour. But becoming one of the Pure isn't as easy as you would think. Twice a year, for every year they attend school, the youth of Eden have to sit the Test: an evaluation of their knowledge and belief in God. In the younger years, getting a few questions on the Test wrong is nothing of concern, but upon reaching high school things start getting dangerous. Make a single misstep and you could face Expulsion and life as an impure. Get a wrong answer on the Test and you'll be Removed - permanently. Avalon knows the risks that accompany disobedience - has experienced them first hand - but when she's told that her world is based on lies, she'll do anything to find out the truth. Even if the truth turns out to be worse than not knowing anything at all. © 2014 by shayebay This novel is entirely a work of fiction. [The sequel to Cold Fire] All her life, Melissa has been defined by something she's had no control over: a rare, undiagnosed disease. But even with all the scientific explanations offered to her by the undeniably clueless doctors, she's been living on lies. Because as it turns out, her disease isn't even a disease at all, but an unfortunate side-effect of swapping souls with her childhood friend, Sarah. Now, after swapping back into her true body, Melissa discovers that getting to this point was only half the battle. Her powers are suddenly uncontrollable, she's haunted by fragmented memories of her past at night and plagued by unanswerable questions during the day. On top of all that, she's due to enrol in a new school in only a matter of days. Never mind the fact that no one can get her name right, if she doesn't learn how to control her powers before school starts, she'll be the talk of the town. But there are deadlier battles on the horizon. Suddenly, the half-century old prophecy that paints her as the saviour has come back to bite her in the butt, and if she can't figure out how to stop her uncle before his new project turns into a reality, they may very well end up on course for an apocalypse. All Melissa has ever wanted was a chance at life - a normal life - but now it looks as though she won't survive the winter. And when someone she loves comes back from the dead, she realises that the answers she seeks are buried much deeper then she could ever have imagined, and in order to find out the truth about her future, she'll have to go back a hundred years in the past. © 2015 by shayebay This novel is entirely a work of fiction. After the war, London is in chaos. Packs are battling it out for dominance in the streets, lycans are killing each other in illegal fight dens. The Royals are being murdered. All Juliet wants to do is forget - forget Sebastien, forget the war, forget everything she's learned about her parentage - but fate has other plans. At 21, she's the sole guardian of her royal, half-brother Theo: a boy she almost killed but is now sworn to protect at all costs. But Theo's blood has painted a shiny target on his back and Juliet knows it'll take a miracle to keep him safe, which means dragging herself back to the old motley crew, once led by Sebastien, for help. But the war has changed a lot more than pack territories in London and protecting Theo might come at a higher cost than she's willing to pay... Like her life.

'Mr.Linton? Is everything alright? I believe you look quite ill than usual,' his calm yet slightly distressed voice echoed through the walls of his office. I could barely remember the last time I felt content with my life. I might get married soon and there won't be a single thing I could do about it, especially with my aunt tailing behind me. 'Am I alright? I am afraid I do not have a definite answer to your question, sir. Why do you ask, sir? Do not concern yourself with my petty feelings. I shall take care of myself. I am an independent woman and currently under the employ of one of the richest man in the entire England. I am fully capable of putting myself together and I shall be even better off with a chocolate bar...' I ranted monotonously for eternity without giving much of a thought. Blast you, human brain! 'Is that so, Mr.Linton?' he questioned again. I could see his little finger twitch while he maintained an icy cool demeanor. Somehow, I already knew he sensed my false claim. Lilly, say goodbye to the world. 'Why, yes sir. Mr. Ambrose sir.' I lied for yet another time. Dear lord, embrace my holy soul. Au Revoir. His chiseled jaw opened again only to speak,'Very well then, Mr. Linton. Bring me file MVC32XII7.' And with a swift movement he picked up his ink pen and started writing something against a white parchment. I let out a sigh. Lillian, what did you expect? Remember, knowledge is power is time is money. Oh, where were we? Yes! File MVC32XII7. HER STORM HIS SILENCE - A STORM & SILENCE FAN FICTION Storm and Silence belongs to the extremely talented and now a published author Robert Thier. I do not own (most of) the characters mentioned in this fan fiction.

A series of Storm and Silence one shots ~~~ It was the warmth that he remembered the most. She was warm, so warm. Like a glowing hearth providing relief to a weary traveller from the cold in the dead of winter. Everything about her was like fire. From her fingers leaving scorched trails everywhere she touched him to the velvet of her lips igniting the furnace in his chest. ~~~
