Everything on Main Island is back to the way it was, with Crossfire reaching new heights for new and incoming competitors to step in and join the ranks. That is, until a new B-Shot steps into the competition. Kohana Mai, a former resident from West City, has recently moved to East City with her mother, after staying with her Aunt and Uncle in North City. As a fellow B-Shot, Kohana wields Flaming Aries, a special B-Daman that was gifted to her by her father, a businessman working in Crestland. But Kohana is more than just a normal girl with a special B-Daman as her partner. One day, as she explores East City, she finds herself at a local B-Club and approaches a mysterious machine - the Gateway. Curious, Kohana places her Flaming Aries on the machine and suddenly, a bright flash of light appears and Flaming Aries... is talking?! All of a sudden, the young B-Shot finds herself in the competitive world of Crossfire, where B-Shots compete in various challenges and climb the ranks on who can become the best of the best. From that point, Kohana begins her journey as a competitor in Crossfire as she meets new friends and reunites with an old friend from many years ago. But underneath it all, Kohana shares a burning passion and a blazing heart. Determined by her willpower and courage, a power awakens - a fire that burns brighter than anything else.
