Since the time she was a young girl, Éponine Rosier has learned the importance of marrying a respectable pureblood and not trusted to make the decision on her own, she finds herself arranged in a marriage with a boy she hardly knows. Throughout her childhood, she's had very limited interactions with the boy by the name of Regulus Black, despite being in the same year and the same House as him. Éponine is the type of person that enjoys the quiet company of herself, filling her time with reading or horseback riding on her family's land and Regulus has been known to never go out of his way to be social. Fearful that the marriage will later on result in nothing but failure, the parents of the teens decide to force the interaction between the two. Éponine finds herself at Twelve Grimmauld Place the summer before she is to start her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, away from her family and home. Initially, their introduction is awkward, full of long bouts of silence and the avoidance of eye contact. They are nothing more than strangers. Yet, as time passes, words are exchanged, memories are created and shared. A love emerges between the two that was meant to be unbreakable. A love story meant for the books to be passed along for generations, however, it takes a tragic turn as the young lives are forced to face the darkness that wants to consume them whole. To say that Oliver Wood had a slight obsession with Quidditch was an understatement. It was borderline unhealthy. He loved the sport, but he hated losing. While he hated losing to any team, there was one team he hated losing to the most. Surprisingly enough, it was the Ravenclaw team. But it wasn't for reasons that many would suspect, it was because of who played on the Ravenclaw team. Melanie Anderson has been playing for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as Chaser since her second year. What started off as friendly competition turned into rivalry as she and Oliver Wood made it their sole mission to have their teams beat each other every year. Oliver wants to win for the sake of winning, but Melanie wants to win just to see the frustrated look on Oliver's face because it's just so damn cute. Plus, who wouldn't want to hear the sexy Scottish voice curse their name?

In an interview, JK Rowling once said that she thought about writing Dudley Dursley into the Epilogue with a magical child. What if she had? This is the story of Dudley's daughter, Esther. Entering her sixth year at Hogwarts, Esther is becoming sick of stereotypes. Sorted into Hufflepuff as a first year, she feels destined to be only loyal and diligent: qualities of a sidekick, not a leader. And it's her last name, Dursley, that causes the uncomfortable disconnect between her and the Potter-Weasleys without them getting to know each other at all. But as she slowly befriends the Slytherin Scorpius Malfoy and captains her house's Quidditch team, Esther has the chance to prove to Hogwarts that not only is there more substance to Hufflepuffs than meets the eye, but that all stereotypes - of houses and last names - can, and should, be crushed.
