He assumed that once Persephone swallowed the six seeds of the pomegranate that she would be his forever. However, it was not the case. Kore Caras has always been aware of her talented green thumb, although while the people of her town know her to be a talented florist, there is so much more to the young woman. At an early age, Kore discovered her talent among plant life, how she could make even a wilting flower bloom at her will. Running a successful floral shop in town, everything seems to be going smoothly for the young woman as the days of summer draw to an end. But everything starts to take a drastic turn when Kore discovers what appears to be pomegranate seeds outside of her front door.

But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades. A modern re-imagining of the story of Persephone.

And so when fate gets twisted and undeniably confusing, the Goddess of Spring and the King of the Underworld were clueless about each other's real personality. Nevertheless, they fell in love with each other as a mortal. Will Hades know that the lady whom he'd been attached to, is the same lady as his queen whom he was finding? And Will Persephone know that the man whom she'd fallen inlove with, is the same man as his husband whom she loathed so much? Based off the original Greek myth: Hades pushes me up against the wall. His breath fanning over my neck as I push against his chest. "Don't pretend Persephone." He mumbles pressing his lips to my neck. "You have feelings for me, I can see it." He continues to assault my neck trailing kisses lower. "Your mother or Apollo can't take you away," He says in between kisses. Hades makes his way back to my jawline. "Because despite what you say you don't want to leave." His blue eyes stare into mine. His lips come crashing down on mine: my first kiss.

"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld."
