In it, Laurens works the night shift at a coffee shop (who knows if a 24 hour coffee shop exists, but in fiction, anything is possible), that Hamilton decides to go to when after he gets struck with writer's block. But they manage to keep in touch for years to come until one day, when Alexander is older, he decides to move to New York where his friend will be attending college. And he is a nervous wreck to meet him again. Will he still like him? Did he move on and find other friends? Regardless, he was terrified to find out.
