Yami is finding it difficult being away from everyone and now has returned to being Atem. A few years has passed and Yami finally has a mirror into Yugi's world and is able to see what he is up to. Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have. What will happen when Yugi meets up with Yami again and when Yami has seen what has happened to Yugi. I do not own Yugioh or it's characters, I only own the plot. It's been 2 years since the Ceremonial Duel between Yami/Atem and Yugi. Yugi still hasn't gotten over that Yami has left for the afterlife and hasn't done a whole lot since. When the story of Yugi's father becomes clearer, can he handle who he truly is or will he fall into a pit of despair and loneliness. When there is finally calm between the group, Yugi and his friends can resume a normal teenage life. Even Kaiba seems to have softened up- although, not by much. When all of the friends get snowed in after a Valentine's celebration, Kaiba and Joey spend a night together, but fight the very next day, as always. Joey Wheeler could never get along with him. After their celebration ends, strange events unfold. Yugi disappears, and a new enemy appears; a strange masked duelist, who seems to have no name. In the midst of all of the madness, Joey and Kaiba seem to fall for one another. But, will it last? So in an effort to try and make things easier to himself he turns to his friend Joey for advice since he's currently in a relationship with Kaiba Seto. Unfortunately it doesn't turn out as good as Yugi thought. Tea, a girl who had once been his best and oldest friend had rejected and humiliated him, was back asking for Yugi's heart. The only thing that sets him apart from the others is his unruly hair and short height. His silence isn't very helpful either. He's just that simple nerdy kid that plans months ahead for exams, sits in the back of class, uses every opportunity to answer a question when he can, and can't get into any team, club, group, or clique in the school, no matter how hard he tries. OR, he trashed the coaches and announcers and scorekeeper for a game in any of the 9 million sports he was a part of. He's the most popular in the school with the charm and wit to capture the heart of anyone at all. He also had the audacity to get himself into all the trouble he wanted, which drove Yugi crazy. But his wit and charm worked... Like a charm. Teachers, faculty, staff, students, even members of the school board. You name it. That kid can get himself into tons of trouble and get out of it with a flex of his tan muscles and a flash from his Crimson eyes. It makes Yugi sick.

After Yugi Muto graduates, he decides to attain the art academy to become an artist. Yugi has always been really good at painting and drawing. But when he gets a golden puzzle from his grandpa, and eventually solves it, his life changes forever. ~Sequel to In Safe Hands~ They thought it was over. Yugi and Yami were together and were safe. For good. But it doesn't last. It happened a few months back. First it was the car accident that brought Yami closer to death than many of the patients at the hospital had ever been. He had been struggling to survive even through the treatments he was given, and his young apprentice was always there, holding his hand, although Yami, wasn't entirely aware. But then, he came back. He and Yugi were reunited, and Yugi wasn't going to let him go again. It was too scary to think about. Things go back to normal. They both work 12 hour days, trying to stay as positive about their jobs as possible, when one day, Yugi receives an invitation from a friend of his to take a vacation and to get away from work for a while. So they go. Together, taking along few friends and meeting more. But when their lives are thrown into jeopardy again after another freak accident... Who'll be the one left with open arms?
