Owszem, znajdowałem tam innych, ale ich styl życia niczym nie różnił się od mojego w Rumunii. A przecież od tego właśnie chciałem uciec. W ich świecie również zawsze trzeba było kogoś zabić, a ja w przeciwieństwie do mojego prapra-ileś-tam dziadka, nigdy za tym nie przepadałem. Marzyłem o tym by życie było tak proste jak w filmach. Chciałem móc iść na zakupy, zapłacić uczciwie zarobionymi pieniędzmi, usiąść domu z kimś bliskim i zjeść tak po prostu posiłek. Gdyby tak krew dało się kupić w sklepie. Wszyscy znajomi uwarzali mnie za szaleńca, twierdząc zresztą, że w mojej rodzinie to genetyczne. Pozwólcie, że opowiem wam swoją historię.
