(NSFW) Loosely inspired by Merely Vampires, written by my friend @paylayeroyale Set in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the summer of 1992, our story follows 25-year-old Vincent Sterling, a street artist, and Remington Leith, a prostitute. A vampire prostitute, to be exact. Our lovely little Remington often occupies the Carousel Bar, where he spends majority of his time doing what he does best; seducing men, of course! Though his clients are much more than just quick fucks to him, and Vincent would be an idiot if he decided to get involved with the infamous Remy Leith. But then again, Vincent never quite was the brightest crayon in the box. "Vampires weren't real anyway, so he had no reason to worry."

Emerson Barrett, a centuries old vampire with a knack for art and philosophy. Emerson longs for the idea that he, like his brother Remington, will find his soulmate, his promised. He's tormented over the idea he may never have one, let alone meet them. Vampires don't have soulmates, after all. With the help of his two brothers, Sebastian and Remington, and the latter's beloved, Elizabeth, Emerson is determined not to slip into the VOID entirely, for he has yet to yearn to give up on his immortal life. Asteria is a young humn woman trying to make a living on her adequate acoustic guitar skills and meager resourses to survive. She doesn't yet know of her true heritage, knows nothing of what said heritage has given her, yet is hunted for it all the same. People are after her, and they'll kill anyone to get her. Together as a family Remington, Emerson, Sebastian, and Elizabeth just want the running to stop. All they want is for their peace to last. But that doesn't seem to be what's in store. The past never truly dies. The cycle of life and death continues, and even those you think are gone never truly fade away.

I used my first name for the oc cause I'm a simp and this started off as a self insert that I dived away from by the time I actually published chapter one. The original song is Mrs. Infamous (My Sweetness) but the title of the book is based off the main character, who is not married, and therefore is not a Mrs.

Remington lives a rockstar life, enlivening concerts and daily life back to back. But what happens after an unfortunate encounter with creatures of the night? And what does he do after he becomes one of them? How does he choose to act, who can he trust to show and believe in, and who does he desperately hide from, in those dark nights he lives through every month. ___ This story doesn't have a determined plot, and is only a few parts of a story of my own that I have.
