A collection of stories that are short and doesn't take long to read. Suitable for people who aren't in the mood of reading a super long novel. :) The number of words will be placed at the end of the title, usually around 1000 words each. As you may notice if you look at the contents list, most of these stories were written in 2017, a good few years ago! I believe that my writing has improved a bit since then, so if you would like to see more of my more recent works then visit stories from Part 29 onwards! Also, a snapshot of what is in this book: - individual short stories, like this one - small series, like "The Colour of U" or "Pompeii, it's August" - an alphabetical list I started, I was going to write a short story for a class of 26, one chapter for each student and hoping to explore how some of their lives are intertwined. This would be spaced out among the later chapters, as sometimes I'd rather do some of the first two types. Enjoy!

This was my entry to the XPrize short story contest. Here's the story prompt: Your flight has been mysteriously transported 20 years into the future. How could this happen? Wait, that's not important. Take a deep breath. Look around. Without a doubt, the world has changed. What new technologies and innovations have reshaped the way we live? Your short story is a first-person account of the passenger seated in 14C aboard ANA Flight #008. What does this person experience as they arrive in 2037 and explore a changed world? How has emerging (or not-yet-invented) technology altered society for the better, and how does your character discover and interact with this technology? We are hopeful for our future, and we ask that your story creatively weaves technology and culture, envisioning an optimistic and exciting future for mankind. Everything I try to write turns into a love story (lol), so it's no surprise I didn't do well in a hard sci fi competition. I hope you enjoy my story more than the judges did!

|| WINNER OF THE PUNKROMANCE SHORT STORY CONTEST || He pursues a solitary figure through the rainy London streets only to end up being blindsided several times over. Leandre Agard's biggest worries were navigating London during his after dark missions; NOT to loose his custom-designed field glasses; and most importantly, to ALWAYS return home before sunrise. That was, until he encountered her. °°°°° Word count - 1999 Published - 10.06.17
