[Book 1 of The Capitol Games series] It had been done. Katniss had cast her vote, Haymitch following with her choice. The Capitol children would have a Hunger Games to let them have a taste of their own medicine and Katniss would make sure they had the worst of it. I shut off the TV squeezing my eyes hard as tears rolled down my face, I dropped to the ground, the metal chains clanking from the collision. I curled up into a ball and started shivering uncontrollably. If they were hosting a Capitol Game, the granddaughter of President Snow would definitely be in it. I shook at the thought of being in an arena being hunted like prey, I had never enjoyed watching the games and I knew just how dangerous it was. I shut my eyes tight trying to ignore the flood of tears streaming down my face. I had never been so scared in my life. ~~~~~ Alice Snow, the granddaughter of President Snow is forced to join the Capitol Games to pay for what her grandfather, President Cornelius Snow had done. What was supposed to be a punishment was the spark of a new spark, a new revolution. Join Alice and her action-packed adventure through the Capitol Games.

What if Katniss never volunteered for Prim? What would her story be like? Most likely, she would have been killed by one of the career tributes. But what if the odds really are in her favor? Read Prim's story, as she is picked for the 74th annual Hunger Games to fight to the death. This is a fan-fiction story based on the novel "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. *Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever. Seventy-four years has been long enough. The way of the infamous Hunger Games has been altered. No longer is every Gamemaker out to devise the worst means of torture and death for every tribute. No longer are the people of Panem outwardly tolerant of President Snow's murderous actions. Under the facade of a normal group of Gamemakers, several rebellious citizens have begun an experiment which, if it succeeds, will make use of technology both to rescue the tributes before they are dead and then deposit the brainwashed children back in time. They have to try it. No one knows what horrors future Hunger Games may bring, and the desperate rebels are willing to try anything. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions of District 2, Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have trained their whole lives for the Games. Nevertheless, their ambitions change when they, without meaning to, find themselves in the Games together. They are both determined to win. But if they don't, what will happen to them? The brainwashed tributes who land in New York City know nothing of who they are or where they are from. They do not remember Panem, or the Games, or even their own names. This is a science fiction story based off the Hunger Games and its characters. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Hunger Games! This story is based around a plot twist I created, but all rights go to Suzanne Collins, the author of the original series. Disclaimer no. 2: this was a first draft written by a very awkward fifteen-year-old me; please treat it as such. We all know the story of the 74th Hunger Games on Katniss Everdeens side... What about Clove? The smart, 16 year old tribute from district 2. In the book Clove comes off as a terrifying killing machine, but I have always thought of her as soft hearted on the inside and a bad ass on the outside.

Running is the only thing about the Maze that Tasha likes; breathing like her lungs are about to give out, blood pumping like it's trying to burst from her veins, wondering if she might ever stop. Well, it's not the only thing, there's the other Runners, the silence of the Deadheads, that one time she punched Gally in the face... And there's Newt. Yeah, she likes Newt, too.

Cato's your basic bad boy, or, that's what everyone thinks about him. Deep down, hidden underneath the brawn, he just may have a brain and a dorky side. Clove however? She's always been cruel and brutal, right? Only one way to find out.
