Maui and Moana have known each other for a few years now and became best friends. One day when Moana's father dies she becomes chief and spent less time with Maui. One day her mother takes care of the village and Moana gets free time. She sees a girl flirting with Maui and her heart breaks when he kisses her cheek. She runs off to a cliff to be alone and noticed something strange. What will happen to her village, to her and Maui, and will Moana survive?

Moana and Maui have always felt something for eachother however they both ignored it knowing that it could never happen. However what happens Moana starts to miss the ocean and being alone among the waves and leaves Motunui for a bit of space before she has to return to take her rightful place as chief and marry her betrothed? What happens when while she's on the ocean blue she sees Maui in his hawk form faltering against the wind and fall into the ocean? As she retrieves him from the water they start a whole knew journey to see Te Fiti and get answers? What happens when there feelings for eachother start to resurface? Will they be able to keep there feelings hidden so Moana can return to her island and follower her duties, or will she throw all of it away for love? If she does return to the island will Maui be able to stop her in time to save them both, or will he be to late and lose her forever? Read We Should Be to find out.
