Maaaalec babes!! I ship it hard so I decided to write a story about it.

This story consists of an AU where the Shadow World meets the world of The Originals. The story is mostly based on the Freeform series but may have a few book references too. Summary: The Michealsons have always associated with the Clave. Now with Alec Lightwood-Bane as the Inquisitor and Magnus Lightwood-Bane as the High Warlock of Alicante, lives are somewhat getting back on track. The changes have been good so far and everyone seems satisfied, Shadowhunters and Downworlders alike. After months Magnus and Alec decide to take a trip back to New York to see their friends and family. They are at a bar with friends when a few vampires suddenly drop dead. The journey of mystery begins with these uncanny deaths. A journey full of twisted faiths, love and trust. Will Magnus and Alec get through it? Would they prove to be soul mates? Would they end? Or end together?

Immortal warlock Magnus Bane is familiar with the Shadowhunters of New York City. However his first time meeting Alec Lightwood brings Magnus to the attention of Alec's soul and its uniqueness. Having angel blood and human blood in one being can sometimes lead to changes, mutations within one's being. Although these are rare and uncommon, they aren't unheard of. These characters are not mine. There are a few parts where I take lines from the TV show as this is canon-divergence that starts off based on the show. I'm also quite new to Shadowhunters, so if I get details wrong, I apologize.

Magnus Bane is an international rock star who has achieved fame and fortune. While it seems he has everything that he could ever desire, he soon realises he wants something more in life. Alec is a financial adviser who helps businesses in need of assistance. He has a very black and white way of thinking and needs order in his life. These two men lead completely separate and different lives, but they meet by happenstance.
