This fanfic takes place in season 8, episode 6 when Barney gives one of the most famous and best speeches in the hit TV Series How I Met Your Mother. From there on, things begin to take a turn.

When Jen and Colin meet for the first time, they immediately know that they get along and that they have chemistry. The countless hours on set bring them closer together, but Jen, afraid to let her guard down, keeps her distance. Then an unfortunate incident brings them together during Comic Con. What will happen on the fifth floor of the hotel, when they're forced to realize the truth?

They leave for what is supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but little do they know the island will not just bring them closer together. Some secrets might be spilled, and the consequences can be far greater than expected. (If you've read the Fifth Floor but not the bonus chapter, I would advise you to read it... otherwise this will make no sense 😆)
