But it doesn't mean he is used to it. Now, him and his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase are given a task to teach the Wizards from Hogwarts how to further prepare themselves for war and loss. But how are they going to cope when memories and losses fill them with sorrow and their nightmares start to come back? Harry Potter is beaten. He is barren and tired and filled with the intensity of the fallen. After defeating Voldemort, he doesn't know how to cope with the deaths. Joining his friends for a final year at Hogwarts, he is hoping for a normal year. But when two mysterious professors appear, Harry knows that normal is overrated.

Percy has been through a lot, being kidnapped, having his memory wiped, several battles, two wars. He does not need anything else to happen. Camp half-blood is in chaos. Camp Jupiter just can't think straight anymore. Why? Because the only demigod son of Hades, Nico Di Angelo, is missing. No one knows where he went, why or how but they are determined to find him. The only person who seems to have an idea of his whereabouts is Hades but he has locked up the underworld and refuses to tell our heroes anything. Nico's sister Hazel is frantic and his boyfriend Will is worried out of his mind. But Hades can't throw the rest of the gang into this mess. No, it would be better if his son Nico does this on his own.
