Disinherited trust fund baby becomes an escort specializing in helping older women live their wildest romantic fantasies. (MATURE) CHASTAIN DEVILLIER, 20, is the loose cannon in a wealthy family descended from two very long and very aristocratic British and French bloodlines. As the story begins, he has spent the last year at what we Americans would call a "party school" in Tucson, Arizona, having dropped out of two of the most prestigious Ivy League colleges in the country--and broken up with his latest love. He's both beautiful and brilliant. But he's a GenZ Holden Caulfield who finds academia a crashing bore and his partying peers insufferably inane. Frustrated by Chastain's inability to find himself, his British father has frozen his trust funds and bank accounts and reduced his monthly living expenses to a paltry sum as a "wake up call." Chas, however, discovers a very unusual side hustle to supplement his meager allowance. After a wild night with a feisty older woman--and with the help of a Web cam star friend--he becomes an escort specializing in clients of "a certain age." It's an occupation he thoroughly enjoys. The wisdom of the women he meets and the diverse cast of characters he encounters in this wild new world intrigues and excites him. Until he falls for CIELO SANDOVAL a stunning, street-smart young asylum-seeker whose dedication to caring for the homeless and less fortunate forces him to rethink this risqué career. And whose narrow escape from two cartel-connected ICE agents hellbent on deporting her back to Honduras sends him on the most meaningful--and dangerous--adventure of his young life.

He saw her for perhaps seconds, across a filled room, even then she had managed to stop time. Customers, sales assistents and even security, all frozen. Eyes followed the group across the shop floor and down the elevator. Captivated. 3 men: tall, dark and handsome dressed in cool beige linen suits had immediatly flanked her as she emerged from the restroom. The word "polished" came to mind. As if they had stepped out of photo shoot. Chiselled jaws, clear skin and darkly composed looks, which occasionally drew back to the women in their midst. And who could blame them, she was striking. It was the only way to desribe her, she possessed features beyond comparison; pixie haired, alabaster skin. A woman with eyes the colour of sage. A woman, more fae than mortal. Graceful and demure. And completely unaware of the effect she had on her surroundings. She nodded to the men to show she was ready to go and they moved together. The men at her sides spoke with an air of polite familiarity that was puzzling. Brothers? Maybe. One could be a husband? It was unclear as they all seemed drawn to her. Bodyguards? No- there was a look of mixed affection, respect and something else- longing as if they cherished her somehow. It was a remarkable incident that was seared into his memory. For yearis he had remained captivated by it. Then she reappeared. She was different. . . Her hair was longer, hung in a velvety curtain at her shoulders and she seemed infinitely more amiable. He knew then he had to have her. He wasnt the man he had been 10 years ago. ‐---------- Please do not plagiarise my work xxx Many thanks to everyone who has adding this title to their reading list xxx

Since the killing of George Floyd on May 25th, the news have been relating the circumstances of his death and its aftermath. I've been turning down the volume during the reports for fear of shocking my toddlers, and also, to my great shame, because my sensitive soul couldn't bear the images of his last moments. But I won't stay silent any longer, nor will I turn down the volume again. I stand with Black people. Justice for George Floyd. #blacklivesmatter Featured on: @NA ~ Take a seat and let it be | Mature Content and 18+ (September 15th, 2021) @NA ~ A piece of your mind | Poetry + ShortStory (September 15th, 2021) @CoffeeCommunity ~ One Shots (August 25th, 2020) @WattpadShortStory ~ Tissues Advised (July 13th, 2020) @NA ~ The timelines - General Fiction (July 2nd, 2020) Photo on the cover by Erik Mclean (Unsplash)

A NOVEL. Addiction tests everything. Especially the people we love. And for Alex Whittaker, nothing comes before the health of his brother Malcolm - a struggling alcoholic. But after years of caring for his brother, Alex wants more. He wants to start a family with his fiancé. He wants to take his job more seriously. He wants to be free of worry. So Alex gives his brother one last chance for sobriety. But something strange passes over the small city of Saint Peter. Something Alex and Malcolm don't understand. Something the government doesn't want the world to know about. And something that will put these brothers in more danger they ever thought possible. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story is based on my own experiences with addiction and love of friends and family, with a twist to keep the writing fun. It's not intended to be derogatory. I just wanted a way to express the way while creating the kind of story I enjoy to read. I hope you enjoy the story, learn something new, and have fun 🙂🥳
