With Thor gone, they are the only Asgardian to make it to Earth, and it's up to them to warn Midgard's protectors about the new threat on the horizon. Killing Thanos is the only way to avenge their brother. Meanwhile, Thor thinking his friends and sibling dead, is cast into space by the Mad Titan. His world is dead, and according to the Guardians of the Galaxy, many might follow if they don't stop the evil tyrant that is Thanos.
