Lani moves to California and becomes neighbors with Malcolm's family. She ends up in the Krelboyne for knowing almost all languages. Malcolm and Lani end up pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend so the teacher will go easy on them. Will it turn real? How much longer can they pretend?
