When young teen Luna moves to a new town, she may think; A new town, a new school, a new start. But when she becomes friends with people who have strange powers she wonders if she too has these abilities.

Destiny has always been the different deer in her herd, she is a were-deer. Half deer, half human. When she is drived away from her herd she is left alone and afraid. But then she meets a boy that is another were-kid, half boy, half wolf. Will the food chain take its course and have Destiny devoured, or will this friendship really work?
