When Pink Diamond claimed Earth for her first colony and made a Human Zoo White Diamond gifted her Royal Lapis Lazuli in celebration of her taking over a planet and because Lazuli was the best terraformer on Homeworld(White Diamond knew how much Pink Diamond treasured her humans).
