Another basic modern college au sorry Literally stereotypical to every college au fic u read (yes there is a storm chapter) with a FEW plot twists bc you know meee ;) When Alexander Hamilton accepts a scholarship into King's College he meets an amazing new group of friends, in doing so also finding the one and only, John Laurens. Alex and John both persue a romantic relationship, but with Thomas Jefferson on Alex's back wreaking havoc, a rocky past to hide, mountains of school work and John's abusive home-life will Alex be able to survive college and protect the love of his life without crumbling under the pressure? Warning: deals with themes of abuse, alcohol, sexual themes, coarse language, self-harm and disorders (depression & ptsd)

This is a Lams modern au. Alexander Hamilton always wears sunglasses. He wears them outside, inside, at night, he even wears them at the movies. No one has ever really questioned him on why....that is until a certain man named John Laurens comes into his life. (Wow, a modern au, how original.) "Is this real life?" "When I'm with you, it feels like a dream..." Alexander just moved to New York so he could go to Kings College. He soon meets some unforgettable friends, and a roommate that seems to hate him. Will their relationship patch up, or will they stay on a bumpy road forever.

John's still in South Carolina, redefining bravery, but Alex goes with him. When Laurens is struck down in battle, his good friend Alex is there to save him, and maybe, they can become more than friends. But just you wait, just you wait. The beginnings 's a little rocky and has some typos I can't be bothered to fix, and the time period doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but apparently people like it so I keep writing it. Enjoy!

Late at night, Alexander Hamilton was tucking his son, Philip, into bed. Alexander was eager to get back to his sleeping husband, but Philip still had a request. A bedtime story. "What story do you want me to tell you tonight?" Alexander said, knowing Philip would put up a fight if Alexander denied telling a story. "Can you tell me how you and Papa met?" Alexander chuckled. "Sure Pip, but get ready, it's a long story."

Third book in the series! John and Alex move to New York because of a promotion and a dream. Is it going to be all they expected? Or will Alexander's dream burn? Haha that pun though. *Burn starts playing*
