Selena Gomez is a 22 year old-fresh out of college and ready to begin a new life with her four year old daughter Kaylie. So she decides to leave the windy city of New York, and move back home to Boca Raton, Florida with her family. She is all excited to be back home to her roots-with her family, and her bestfriends, the only downside-running into Justin. Justin Bieber is the father of Kaylie-but Justin doesn't know that. When Selena was only seventeen, she fell pregnant with her ex-boyfriends child who was planning on going to an early college program in St. Louis. Selena had planned on telling Justin many times, only to be put down when she found out he had moved on quickly-quicker than she had planned. So her solution? She kept it a secret from him. She cut off all contact with him and told everyone that knew to keep it a secret. Now that she's moving back home-would Justin be smart enough to do the math when it comes to Kaylie?

She only stares right in front of her. Her thoughts elsewhere. She's in her head again and she's making me crazy. Her hands are closed into fists and her eyes are empty. She looks so out of place and I don't know what to do expect to stare back at her. I don't know how to offer her comfort. I dont't even recognize my own voice when I decide to speak. "Selena?" Selena doesn't respond. I try again, a little louder this time. "Selena?" Her eyes snaps up at me, she looks confused at first before she looks around her and that is when she realizes where she is. Her eyes stare back at me, so tired, so strained and I can't help but wonder. I wonder how a girl like her, out of all people. might have something in common with me: pain trapped in our soul. Dark thoughts consuming our mind. Something strong holding us back, not letting us scream in peace.
