Shipwrecked on the coast of Falas, Teler maiden, Tindalma finds herself in a different world than her quiet life in Alqualondë. The war torn expanses of Beleriand are not her first choice of homeland, but, barred out of Valinor by the Kin-slayers' doom, she is forced to stay. "As the days of the sun bring new life, so shall the coming ages bring Truth." It has been 10,000 years since the Deceiver stole the stone of Truth from the Creator's people. For those 10,000 years, the people of the have lived in darkness, though they do not know it. The Remnant of Truth, which fled north in the final battle, has lived in deepening despair. It seems that all hope is lost. For all her life Joanna Novare has wanted nothing else as much than to restore the truth. Now, Joanna and six others of the house of Novare have been called to restore Truth to the people. They obey, little knowing what adventures - and dangers - lie ahead of them.

Klar-Rune is torn apart, racked by wars and feuds. There is no right or wrong. Skay-Kern, humans gifted with extraordinary abilities, are slaughtered from the first sign of fruition. There are few left, and it is their job to bring together what has long been shattered. The question is, will they succeed?
