When they investigated a prisoner camp abandoned by the Galra, the last thing Lance expected to find was a small alien child. He couldn't stand to see him cry so he did the only thing he could think of. Singing.

Everyone knows Lance. He's Hunk's best friend. He's Keith's self-appointed rival. He's Shiro's fan boy. Lance is a flirt. He's shameless, a little slow, and is more than a little obnoxious. But he's also sweet, a good shot, and can be serious in the right situation. That's Lance. That's why he's a paladin of Voltron. So what happens when Lance starts to break out of his shell? What if Lance isn't funny? What if Lance isn't sweet? What if the Lance of Voltron isn't Lance. Not truly. How will the team react to learning Lance is much different than his first impression? Follow the team as they try to piece together who Lance is, behind all the covers. IM BACK TO WRITING THIS, SORRY FOR THE WAIT. Undergoing Editing at the moment - 05/10/2022 ^_^_^ A/N: this is my first Voltron fanfic, so it may not be that good. But feel free to check it out. This is a Lance centered Voltron story. In here, Lance will like a boy. He will have a past. And he will have some skills that the team doesn't know about. My goal is to write about Lance as he could be in my eyes.

The Galra turns his chin up again. "Why do you laugh, paladin of Voltron? Can you not see the odds have fallen undoubtedly in my favor?" As Lance wiped the blood from his mouth, a weak smirk settled on his lips. "It's not so unfortunate-if this is how I die, I'm at least lucky enough to have a beauty like you in my sights, right?" • Lance McClain is losing everything. First the Blue Lion, then Red-and now, the trust of his team. He's always been willing to do what it takes to defeat Zarkon, even if it separates him from the people he cares about. But as the Voltron team begins to lose faith in Lance, he finds himself carving out a new path-one that he is confident will end with Zarkon's defeat. The only problem? This new strategy belongs to Prince Lotor, his enemies' son. Balancing his loyalty to Voltron and his drive to defeat the evil that has plagued the universe for too long, Lance will have to decide who he trusts-and how much he's willing to sacrifice for the greater good. • At some point during some stars' lifespans, similarly to Earth's sun, the star reaches a point where fusion ceases, and it runs out of helium at its core-and when the core begins to burn, that's when everything rips away from itself, clouds of stardust taking over the space surrounding and forming a stunning nebula. Lance felt the burning at his core. And then, like a starburst-he felt the stardust rush from his core to the tips of his fingers and beyond-he was dripping in it, the stardust, the quintessence-and knew in that moment that whatever he needed to happen, would happen. The would be nothing he could not do. Nothing he could not be. • Cover art by iaclos on Fiverr • (This will be a Voltron AU - it is not set after any specific episode or season, but it can certainly be read as an alternative to Season 8. This will also feature some deserved #Adashi and some #Klance conflict ;D )

It wasn't the room itself that was bothering him, It was the lack of people within it. A series of non-related Lance angst! We're sorry.

Everyone is born with animal traits. Whether you're born with ears and a tail, or claws and fangs, everyone is born with something. The most common is to have some relation to a cat or wolf (ears and tails) and the rarest [and most dangerous] is to be born with wings. Lance is one of the few unlucky souls born with wings. He must deal with all the struggles of being a rare and valued trinket and learn how to become a Paladin.

Lance McClain, wanted in over thirty countries for robberies of 252.3 million dollar value, smuggling assault rifles and illegal substances over the US border, bombing several casinos along the way...you get the point. Lance knew what he was doing. Because he was never caught. Not even once. "So, Lance McClain, criminal mastermind," the tiny gremlin continued. "What could you stand to gain from turning yourself in?" Lance shrugged. "I got bored." All credit of the idea goes to Koctsu on instagram! Thanks so much for letting make this wonderful idea into a full-fledged story!! (All pictures used is their art, not mine)

It was obvious that being split up into different wormholes shook them up, but the stories that they were able to tell after were priceless. Lance hung to every word that came from their mouths; so why do they think that everything that he told them was a lie? (Allura, Keith, and Pidge think that Lance is lying about saving a planet, they don't think that it would ever be possible for him.)

Lance had always known that someday his disorder was going to get the best of him. He worked extremely hard to be able to keep it under control and act normal, but sometimes it just isn't enough. Maybe he really was defective...
