𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝟒 Certaines limites ne devraient pas être dépassées. Dans le cimetière de Beacon Hills, les morts se reposaient dans la pénombre de cette nuit de décembre. Allongés dans leur cercueil, recouverts d'une pierre tombale à leur effigie, ils étaient en paix. Une voiture de police se gara non loin de là. Un officier ouvrit la porte pour sortir de son véhicule une lampe torche à la main. Un walkie accroché à l'épaule, il appuya sur l'engin pour établir le contact avec la station : « Je suis arrivé sur les lieux. -Reçu, répondit un second agent. » Eclairé par les gyrophares, le policier sortit son arme. Il avança, pas après pas, sursautant au moindre bruit que le vent engendrait. Il s'enfonça dans les ténèbres de ces lieux, analysant, une à une, les tombes voisines. Mais après quelques minutes, il s'arrêta, surpris par l'état de l'une d'entre elle. « -C'est pas vrai... » Il appuya sur son walkie pour reprendre : « C'est bon, je l'ai devant les yeux. » Le trentenaire s'agenouilla pour faire face à la tombe entièrement déterrée. Le cercueil grand ouvert, il fut surpris de n'y trouver aucun corps. Il releva le regard sur la pierre tombale, lisant attentivement l'identité de la victime. « Peux-tu confirmer que le corps a été déplacé ? - Je peux surtout confirmer que le corps n'est plus à sa place. Le cercueil est entièrement vide. - Est-ce que tu peux nous donner l'identité du cadavre volé ? » L'officier de police pouvait la leur donner mais il ne pouvait s'empêchait de penser que prononcer ce prénom lui porterait malheur. 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝟐 L'été venait seulement de se terminer. Loin de Beacon Hills, j'avais pris le temps de profiter de ma vie de famille sans pour autant oublier mes deux imbéciles favoris : Scott et Stiles. "Skype" avait été la seule chose qui nous avait permis de garder contact et chaque semaine j'avais le droit à un appel avec un de mes deux camarades. Si j'avais de la chance, l'un d'eux s'incrustait chez l'autre pour pouvoir assister à cette prise de nouvelle régulière. Mais voilà, deux mois étaient passés et j'avais maintenant le droit de retourner à Beacon Hills, la ville des problèmes. Everyone in the world can be persuaded with a bit of fortune, especially when a supernatural deadpool is issued and everyone Carter knows and cares about are on it - including herself.
