Fourteen year old Julian Grimm was all alone, his parents abandon him, his caretaker abuses him, he has no friends at school, and the big kids beat him up, just great. After going through these ordeals Julian was full of sadness, anger and fear but all that disappears and now he feels nothing. Now and again Julian can't help to think these things, is his existence all just a mistake? One faithful night, when he was thinking of ending his miserable life, he dreamed. Well of course he dreams normally, but this was no ordinary dream. It was a boy who showed his face to Julian, at first Julian was uneasy about him, for the boy was a whole foot taller than him and he gave of this aura of silliness as if he saw everything in the world as a joke.
Two years have passed by now and nothing has changed except his hope. The kid has shown him that there is more to life then misery. If only he was real.
Blake Hamilton is a joyful, positive, good-looking guy. But what others don't know is that he is an orphan, abandoned by his parents. No one knows why, not even Blake himself. Fortunately he does not let that get him down, with his best friend Sarah and the kind caretakers that feed and clothe him, what more can he ask for? But he can't help to wonder, did his parents leave him because they did not love him? One night, while he was sleeping, a dark boy came into his dream and Blake learned a new meaning to friendship.
Two years passed and Blake was at the peak of his happiness, until the boy asked him of something, which made Blake question. Was it just a dream?
