When his family decides to move to L.A, Ethan decides that he is going to finally make some friends, by not letting anyone find out his secret about his hearing disability. His plans were to be known as a mute, not a fuck up, but what happens when a boy in his class causes Ethan to do a double take, and even further, what will happen when the boy begins to ask questions?

Sherlock is the son of a rich business man, and there was only one thing that he wanted but couldn't have; John Watson. There was no way the Freak and the star football player could ever have a chance together, especially when the two families had a blood feud. Our main character, Ethan Nestor, lives under a dictatorship. And a very strict one at that. Each and every citizen has a very limited set of rights. And so, it's normal that they are very attached to them. One of those rights concerns one's hair color. It goes this way : "You cannot discriminate one based on one's hair color as long as it is the color that they were born with." Because in this world, people are born with either Brown or Blond hair. However, how is our Blue-haired protagonist supposed to live in this universe?

John has the perfect life, he has a beautiful wife, a adorable little kid, and a large, cozy house. He hates it to death. Sherlock has the worst possible life, his job as a second grade teacher is more like purgatory and he could count the people he liked on one hand. When the two meet there is no way anything could happen? Right?
