The sound of Emmaline's sharp breathing and her feet splashing through the flooded streets interrupted the alleyway's usual deathly silence. The alleyway had a way of making any stray and lonely traveler feel on edge; the way it felt very secluded, despite an entire city surrounding it, could make anyone feel like the only person in the world. Anyone, except Emmaline on this night.

The idea is that the readers will give me any kind of theme and I will write about it in one chapter. Each chapter will have a different theme presented as well ^-^
