Hi. I've pondered hard on where I should include this note (because it's essential for anyone reading this story to know this). I considered the start of every chapter but the thought of flooding people with "updates"? No, thanks. I thought of just replying to comments regarding this but in all honesty, I only come here once in a blue moon, not the best way too. Which is why, you are reading this now. I wrote this story when I was much younger, more ignorant and less knowledgable on current affairs. I've decided to reflect my main characters' age to mine, because it was easier to keep track of the ages with the writing style I used in this story. Back then, I only thought of my convenience but not how problematic age will be in this story. One might say, I can edit it, change it but I don't have that commitment. Others might think, I can bring this story down but everything about My Best Friend holds precious memories. It is not something I ever want to take down. Hence, an author's note. With that being said, if you've read my disclaimer and the synopsis below it, yet still decide on reading this story, I am sincerely sorry about the age factor. - Friendship is a type of relationship and all relationships involve feelings.
