Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most DESPICABLE of them all? ......... Meet the oh- so-sweet 12 years old Maxine Welleris. She has a big mouth, chubby, innocent, scaredy cat, considerate, kind, unathletic, nerdy, ugly and unpopular. What happens when the stupid ol' drunk cupid accidentally hits her in the butt and makes her fall in love with one of the most popular guys in school? Yup. Trouble. But hey, they were good friends at first! I give you that. They talked day and night in facebook, play together and he would even comfort her when she's either scared or sad. But well, of course, 12 year old guys think about their reps so when "his" friends started teasing them because they were so close, the guy started avoiding Maxine. Ohohoho, yeah, i sure heard Maxine's heart shatter into pieces. Luckily, she had to stay with her aunt for a couple of years. So gazillion miles away she went. But when she comes back, beware.... "I, Maxine Welleris, promise to come back and when i do, i will become beautiful, skinny, athletic and despicable. I will make you fall in love with me, Rick Fraide!
