When Sofia sprains her ankle at the highland hootenanny at Royal Prep, Violet and Prince Hugo decide to be sympathetic for her by keeping her company. However, Amber is jealous of the attention Sofia is getting and decides to pretend to be sick to get more attention than her!

Sofia and her friends are now grown up and facing new changes, and there's a very big change coming. Twenty-year-old Prince Hugo proposes to Sofia on her 19th birthday, and she happily accepts! Sofia and Hugo are very much looking forward to their future, and they want the wedding to be perfect. But there are two people who aren't going to make that easy: Amber and James.

Sofia's birthday is coming, and Prince Hugo has made a special gift for her: a beautifully handmade music box that plays a song his grandmother used to sing. But Amber doesn't think Sofia will like it and insists Hugo give Sofia a "better" gift. After many failed ideas, Hugo insists on giving Sofia the music box. But during the surprise birthday party, Sofia really isn't happy because it's very extravagant, and she feels like nobody cares about her. Luckily, Sofia's amulet summons Princess Tiana, who teaches the kids (especially Hugo) that a true gift needs to come from one's own heart.

A new princess enrolled at Royal Prep and when she gazed eyes at Hugo, she was in love. There was going to be a Royal Ball at Royal Prepand the new princess asked Hugo to be his date. But Hugo said that his date will be his best friend, Sofia. The new princess was jealous of Sofia when they danced in the ball that she wanted to do something bad. She decided to cast a spell on Hugo that he won't remember Sofia dancing with him. Hugo won't even remember that he was Sofia's best friend. All Hugo will remember is that he was in love with the new princess. Will there ever be a way Sofia will get her best friend back?

Princess Adara has recently transferred to Royal Prep, and she's taken an instant liking to Prince Hugo. But every time Sofia comes around, Hugo starts paying attention to her instead, which is enough for Adara to notice the spark between them.
