Highest rank #2 in Humor The heat that came from his body made me almost want to embrace him. His breath fanned my face due to our closeness and I parted my lips in attempt to lose the air in my throat. His eyes travelled my actions to my lips and I watched his eyes darkening as they lingered upon them way too long. Biting his own bottom lips, he moved closer to my ear so that only I could hear what he has to say next. "Close that mouth of yours sweetheart unless you want something else inside it." __________________ Getting kidnap is one thing. Getting kidnap while you're on a walk with your grumpy cat who can't stop peeing is another. Feyona and Keyona are twin sisters. Everything about them is identical except their eye colour. Meet Alyssa Bent, she's a nerd. But not your typical one. She likes to read, but her world doesn't totally revolve around books. She's not shy nor does she stutter when someone tries to corner her. She can stand up to anyone provided it doesn't involve attention. Attention is the only thing that scares her, and like always, there's a reason behind it. Maintaining a balance of grades and producing comebacks with sarcasm dripping from each word isn't the only talent she possesses. Enter Aaron Pelt, the most popular boy at Gradient High. Girls fawn over him. Well, who wouldn't? He's the star soccer player, after all. With the looks no less than a model, he has no problem maintaining his status on the social ladder. He maintains a cool aura around him all the time. They both go to Gradient High, a school that is divided into two social groups: the popular ones and the nerds. The popular ones are the wealthy snobs and the nerds are the ones who practically are their slaves. At Gradient High, these two groups can never get along! Like Ever! But who knew that the most popular guy and the nerd would actually be best friends? That's right! Alyssa and Aaron have been best friends since their diaper days. But at school, they are forced not to acknowledge each other's presence because if they did, Aaron's reputation might suffer and Alyssa may be subjected to something she hates the most: attention. While Aaron may not know, the reason why Alyssa hates attention might be even more than she lets him believe. A reason that might even force her to throw away her future dream. So will Aaron be able to break through the walls and push her out even when he has the pressure of popularity and the school status weighing him down? Get ready to expect the unexpected. You might want to change your definition of clichè after reading...... #1 Humour- 08.01.16 (Cover by: -infinities) *NOT EDITED SO KINDLY BEAR WITH ME!

♡ His gaze was deep, deeper than the purest oceans, fixated on my every move, making me squirm under the heat. If it were not for my helplessness, I would have never even been here in the first place. But yes, I needed his help before it was too late and my grades and the ground-level were equally at height. So I was expecting him to be cocky, make a huge deal out of him. But I was definitely not expecting what stumbled out of his mouth. ❝Okay, I'll tutor you Brown. But you also have to agree to what I say,❞ he said as his lips twitched upwards into his infamous signature smirk. ❝And what is that may I ask?❞ I asked him as I crossed my arms against my chest. ❝You have to be my friend,❞ he said, the little smirk vanishing, and in its place was a smile I wasn't used to. ♡ When something terrible happens in the life of the 'Nerd Of the School', a title she earned back in the middle school, Cadence Brown is shaken. Her focus from her ultimate goal; studies is disturbed. She wants to get back in line and concentrate again on her studies but is unable to, because of the constant plaguing of her self deprecating thoughts. Nolan Moore is the scary, broody bad boy everyone was afraid of. His name is enough the send an uncomfortable shiver down one's spine. Despite having rugged looks, the girls are too scared to flirt with him and the guys, definitely don't want to mess with him, risking to break a bone or two. But deep inside the bad boy facade was a guy who is a nerd, someone who scores really well. ♡ When circumstances force Nolan to tutor Cadence, he jumps at the opportunity and a new friendship is bloomed. ♡ Warning: Do not read this book. It has many typos. Though I am a Grammar Nazi, I am a human first and hence the mistakes! Read at your own risk! The book gets better after 10

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction
