Vegytrekk (vay-trek) dreams of becoming the grand Lich of Skotós. But before he can even think of reaching such a position, he must first complete his first task of necromancy: reanimate and bind his first zombie. Now most necromancer's have their zombies by the age of thirteen, or even younger. It has even been dubbed the easiest and simplest of any practice. But Vey is eighteen, and he still has yet to reanimate his first corpse. When he finally breaks free of his procrastinating streak, he ventures out of the city borders in search of a fitting victim. But what he finds in the rugged deserts of Skotós is far from zombie-material. {Since this is my first original work, it is considered to still be in the rough draft stage.
