"Every year it comes as no surprise that the 24th of Midyear, the birthday of none other than Tiber Septim, will cause some stirring on the Summerset Isles." My name is Lavendir. I'm an Altmer, born on the 14th of Hearthfire, and raised in the Summerset Isles. Many would call me a dissenter, but I would call myself a liberator, of sorts. After all that they have done, the Thalmor have become my greatest enemy. And I will stop at nothing to try and end them. *I only own my main and supporting characters, Bethesda owns the elder scrolls universe and all relevant canonical characters and lore! **This story is the backstory I created for my Skyrim player character ***Cover photo is a little doodle of Lavendir, drawn by me :3

Stin = Freedom in Dovahzul ~~~ The Dragonborn is victorious and Alduin is dead. Skyrim can now rest in peace. But there is one last obstacle before peace is achieved. The Civil War ~~~ Very mature themes in this book!! Read at your own risk! This book may contain; - Descriptions of gore and violence - Controversial themes This book will add a 'Game of Thrones' type feeling to Skyrim. I say this now so that I don't get questioned on this. This is a fanfiction based on a game set in medieval times. Yeah, it's fantasy, but the time period was different back then regardless of genre. ~~~ - Characters used in this book belong to Bethesda - My OCs belong to me - Any pictures or music used in this book belong to their rightful owners

With dreams of becoming the most well-known Alchemist in all of Tamriel, Nolwenn Riverbrook, a young woman comprised of both Bosmer and Breton heritage, seeks out knowledge for her remedies by traveling the land. Upon the border that separates Cyrodiil from Skyrim, she's caught between a civil war ambush, carted and taken away to her death. But before her end arrives, Alduin, the World Eater, returns from time itself, and who else to stop it but the halfling who discovers herself the true Dovahkiin and center of the prophecy of old. With the help of allies and an Imperial mage who's heart dedicated to hers, Nolwenn must face her destiny and spare the world from it's unseemly end. {This is also a fanfiction on my Archive of our Own account. The account name is the same. If you prefer to read on there, well, it's there :)}

(Perhaps I'll update. Perhaps I won't. Who knows? I don't.) When darkness and light collide, there is bound to be quite the firework show. Serana is a vampire, a child of the night; Selene, a vampire hunter, a child of light. When Selene joined the Dawnguard, all she really wanted to do was cut down some vampires. Her red hot hatred for vampires made her the perfect candidate for the job. After she uncovers the mysterious Serana sealed away in a tomb below the surface of the world, things are set into motion that cannot be stopped. A prophesy where vampires block out the sun and enslave all mortals? Even Serana isn't up for that scale of war. Selene never imagined that she would have to team up with the creature she was so sworn to kill. It does not go without say that the alliance between the hunted and hunter is strained, and often arguments and fights break out. Not only does the duo have to learn to work together if they want to stop the prophesy from coming true, but another darkness is rising below the surface of the vampire wars. One connected to a dark past long forgotten. One so dark, perhaps the roles of light and darkness. . . are reversed? Skyrim Dawnguard fan fiction. No copyright intended. Rated M for language. It's not THAT bad. Just don't want children being children about it. You had warning, you little bits. All works, story lines, and characters belong to Bethesda. Save my character. Duh.

Helvia Abgrall, a naïve and restless young Breton farm girl, leaves her comfortable and uneventful life at her family's farmstead in High Rock in hopes of attending Skyrim's College of Winterhold, as she longs to learn more about magic and how to use it, as well as to improve upon her own natural aptitude. However, she's anything but prepared for the journey that lies ahead of her. She's inexperienced, clueless, nearly incapable of fending for herself, and her lack of common sense is almost unreal. However, she's determined to make a better life for herself than the one she had before, and her resolve alone might just be enough to help her reach her goal. Well, that is, if things were going in her favor to begin with. There is another force that seeks to divert her path to a less pleasant venue, and it is far stronger than she is. In order to keep herself from losing sight of why she even left home in the first place, she'll have to stay ahead of a surprisingly powerful, on-the-rise faction in a foreign land - and she won't be able to do that alone. This aspiring mage will travel alongside pickpockets and pariahs, mercenaries and monarchs, and many more intriguing inhabitants of the province of Skyrim on the way to achieving her dream - and, just maybe, she'll befriend a few of them along the way way. But her path will not be an easy one - at least, not the one that she's hoping to take. She will have to make sacrifices and learn to adapt to unfavorable outcomes, and, in the end, she may learn that following her dreams might not be in her best interest.
