Kate Beckett is in a relationship with a guy called William Sorenson and she's pregnant with his child. She's so happy to finally have a baby. But she soon realises that Will is never with her, helping her through the pregnancy. And the only thing that gets her through her life, it's not her boyfriend, not her family, but it's no other than a book. Yes a book. but it's no ordinary book. No, it's a Richard Castle book and all his other novels about Derrick Storm. So, one day, Kate goes to his book signing to get her favourite book of all, Storm Fall, signed. She's still currently pregnant, but that doesn't stop her from going. What happens next? What happens at the book signing? After the book signing? In the future? What will happen between the famous characters that we have grown attached too? Read on, to find out what happens...

Kate Beckett has been a fan of criminovelist Richard Castle ever since the first book, but when she starts researching about becoming a foster mother she gets shocked to see his daughter, Alexis Harper Castle, is one of the kids who needs a foster home, fast.
