Joanne, a 17 year old girl stuck in a friendship with mean and demanding "popular" girl Angela and living in a troubled home with parents fighting feels stuck and alone. All untill she gets paired up with Noah, an 18 year old boy for a school task requiring the both to overcome a great fear of theirs. Though, Noah is concidered to be the "nerd" and Joanne doesn't want Angela to know about them.
