When a woman comes to her for help with her husband, she is dead the next day. It's up to washed up detective Edith Creyton to find the truth of what happened in the growing city of sin. Living in a mans world, she has to push through other lazy inconsiderate cops and detectives to solve her suspicious suicide. I drew the cover myself. :D

I peered out into the hall. I couldn't see anything in the dim lighting at first, but as I peered more closely I noticed dark spots on the bare floor. I stepped forward and bent down. I touched it. Blood. It stained my finger. I fearfully turned my head to look down the hall. More drips. A trail of blood. It lead to the door at the end of the hall. The door no one was allowed through. They threatened to kill us if we so much as touched it. Small and fragile, inching our way through this big, crazy world trying to discover who we truly are. We go through metamorphosis, influences from the outside shaping and morphing us, preparing us. Then, before we know it, we emerge from our cocoons and spread our new found wings, taking flight into the unknown that is life. I discovered this theory throughout four, grueling years of high school. So many twists and turns, heart aches, and lessons to learn. All these things I'd like to share with the world, showing my transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. (Note: These are only two excerpts.
