They englighten her on the world, how there is a lot more darkness creeping and hiding than she had ever expected, which gets her depressed and think there isn't hope, but they also lend her to beautiful ideas that in a world full of darkness, maybe things don't have to be that bad... and that there was some light in the darkness...
