While falling in love with a drug kingpin, Tikera must prove she can survive in his dangerous world - and convince him their relationship is worth fighting for. ***** After dropping out of university and setting her sights on traveling to Europe, twenty-three-year-old Tikera Copeland is desperate for a job. So when she innocently applies for a gardening position and immediately gets hired, she's shocked to discover that her "real" job will be tending to a bunker full of thriving, (definitely) illegal weed plants. Intrigued by this world she knows nothing about, Tikera agrees to stay, but her growing feelings for "The Boss" -- the mysterious drug kingpin who owns and grows the plants -- quickly complicate things. He's falling for her too (and she knows it, even if he won't admit it), but breaking through his icy exterior won't be easy. And with thieves, vengeful hitmen, and rival kingpins threatening them at every turn, will they even survive long enough to find their happily ever after? [[word count: 100,000-150,000 words]]

Disclaimer... [Highest rating: #7 in Science Fiction] "Please, sir." He stared at her with glittering eyes, his fingers once again steepled. He appeared to take pity on her a second later and rose from his seat. "My office Ms. Sanders." Feeling jittery and angry, she stood. On unsteady legs Christy followed her boss, ignoring the curious looks she was receiving. She felt nerves and something far more potent swirl in her stomach as she left the conference room behind. The minute they stepped into his office, three things happened. The door slammed, the walls went dark and her back was roughly pushed up against the glass. Christy didn't have a second to protest as a wall of heavy muscles thrust against her and she gasped at the unbound pleasure ricocheting through her body. Mr. Humack buried his head between her neck and shoulder and let loose a growl that had a stab of pleasure accosting her most secret place... He bit her shoulder and she yelped. His deep baritone was smooth with husky passion that made her shiver. "I will have you, Christal." It wasn't a promise. It was a threat. **** Christal Sanders had expected great things from her new job as a Space Pod designer and Current Affairs rep. Unfortunately, after six and a half cycles of working for Mr. Humack, reality was a little too much to stomach, after all her high expectations were reduced to little more than silent treatments and the occasionally frosty glare directed her way. She was convinced this couldn't be all there was to her life so she filed a vacation request, but it was denied. Her boss wouldn't let her leave, and that's when things got weird. She found herself having a string of bad luck, and a not-so-epic faint, that ultimately revealed something that would change her life completely... Of course, not before it tied her to the Jude that had caused it all, Her boss. And now they had no choice but to be joined at the hip while trouble follows them across the universe.

Author Note: If you have already read my story 'The Northman's Bride', this is the same story with no changes or edits. I have written a full length novel, book 3 in my Sons of the North series and have decided to use the title 'The Northman's Bride' for it. I apologize for any confusion. What would you do with only a few days left to live? Would you do throw your pride aside and dare to love? Aleksi has lived his life by the motto that woman were to be worshiped, not understood, much like religion. Now, one of the last two survivors on a plague ship, he has begun to wonder if he hasn't missed out on enjoying the comfort that a charming young wife might have brought him. Wounded in a recent battle, Commander Aleksi Ekstrom awakens on the Norrland ship to discover the priest's ward, a young French woman, locked below deck in a cabin of dead nuns, all other passengers and crew lay dead or dying of what looks like plague. Feeling fevered, yet unwilling to surrender her life just yet, Mimi has the forty-day ship quarantine to live her final days to the full. Her sole wish is to not die a virgin. Promised to the church since birth, she always knew she'd be a terrible nun, and so apparently had the evil priest that was selling her to a warlord in Estonia, where the ship had been heading before contracting the deadly plague. Anchored off the coast of Sweden, the quarantined plague ship is well supplied by Aleksi's grieving father and Jarl Magnus, who generously provides his loyal commander with anything requested, grateful to Aleksi for years of brave, loyal service to Tronscar. Aleksi and Mimi toss social restraints aside and speak openly and honestly, holding nothing back, both desiring to live out their final days with no regrets. But, if they survive the quarantine what then, will Aleksi return to his old life and will Mimi be returned to the warlord she was promised? **Adult content.**

In a world shrouded by soot and smoke, young Makarria has literally been forbidden to dream... Legend has foretold the demise of Emperor Thedric Guderian at the hands of a sorceress with royal blood, and the Emperor has made it his legacy to stamp out all magic from the Sargothian Empire in favor of primitive coal fired smelters and steam powered machines. When Guderian's minions discover a Dreamwielder on a seaside farmstead, a chain of events forces Guderian's new threat-the young Makarria-to flee from her home and embark upon an epic journey where her path intertwines with that of Princess Taera, her headstrong brother, Prince Caile, and the northman Siegbjorn, who captains a night-flying airship. Dogging their every step is the part-wolf, part-raven sorcerer, Wulfram, and Emperor Guderian, himself, a man who has the ability to stint magic and a vision to create a world where the laws of nature are beholden to men and machines. Only by learning to control the power she wields can Makarria save her newfound companions and stop the Emperor from irreversibly exterminating both the magic in humans and their bond with nature.
