In order to keep the Baratheon family's perfect image, Stannis insists on marrying his sister off, to a Lannister, despite the arguments from his advisor, Davos. Needless to say, Melody doesn't like the idea, but has no idea what else to do. So she agrees. When she meets Jaime Lannister face to face, Melody hates him more than she can admit out loud. Jaime, however, seems at least a little pleased and protective of Melody. He brings his own security team with him and assigns one of the bodyguards to protect Melody. Melody and the guard hit it off and soon Melody begins to doubt if she'll be able to go through with the wedding. Unfortunately, there is no room for love in the game of politics.
