"Not all Muslims are terrorists." You know how people say never to judge a book by its cover? I shouldn't have done that myself. Growing up with racist parents planted a negative reputation of Muslims in my head. So, I started believing everything they've told me. I thought Muslims were the reason crisis was happening around the world. I thought Islam was an evil religion. But, boy, was I wrong. Everything changed, the day I met the Muslimah next door.

This was not supposed to happen, they were not supposed to meet. An angry young Pashtun with his ego problems was not supposed to fall for the Americanized version of a Pakistani Muhajir, hack life was not decided for love, not for him at least. He was hard headed than why his gray orbs sudden soften for the brown ones. He had decided that he will marry the first girl that came in front of him to prove a point to his theoretically former tribal bride and in laws. But it took a highway route when he saw a certain, lost girl at the Jinnah Airport. A girl in white cotton floor length dress with a brown leather jacket with a pair of converse munching on a packet of lays masala, sitting on her own trolley, flipping her head here and there as her scarf moved with her without even for once being displaced from its original position. Was he ready to marry a girl that he does not know let alone liked by first sight when he knew in his family approval comes from the elders where there is no choice left for them, the broods? He might be an introvert and an honor preserving chap but he was clear when it came to what he wants and needs. He never confused his feelings with his duties as the head of his family or as the impending head of the chief of his tribe, to be the next Emir of Gorgush. Olasyar Khan, was in that state of mind but then why did his heart feel that pine? He was ready to make everything turn according to his desires, the Pashtun in him was not ready to back down and let others lead his life for him. Allah showed him the way, so he will move all the rocks and stones in his path even if he must pick them up by his bare hands. As the tag on the bag read the name, he uttered the last words and left, "Zareen Wadi, be ready to be Zareen Khan." Their fates were already amalgamated, they just had to find their way to each other. The following book does not represent or attack a certain race or cast. Spiritual #33 (4/20)

Mera Hero (My Hero)--[may-raa 'hirō] • • • A void. A pit cluttered in darkness. Wisps of chilly air seeping into my ripped flesh, peeling back skin and revealing unbearable degrees of pain. I huddled myself closer--as close as my fragility could bear. My heart was weak, yet the palpitations thudded against my chest in fear. Nothing could shield me from the horrors of this world--no one. Yet a garishly lit part of my mind set itself free, and I remembered the words of Allah, and my unwavering faith that had kept me going this far. "Isha..." I peeled open my eyes, honing in on a pair of smouldering grey orbs that peered at me from above. He kneeled down, and the sudden recognition had clouded my mind. It was him. His hand reached forward and the warm contact of his palm with my bloodily bruised and cold cheek was merely enough to ignite me with a minuscule amount of energy. "Isha...you have to come with me now. We must leave," his hoarse whisper echoed within the confined room and I shut my eyes, oddly finding comfort in his voice. "Isha...Isha you can't stay here. I...I can't bear it--I can't bear to see you like this..." He continued to whisper sweet words and promises, but I tuned it out. I tuned it out and a faint smile painted my pale face, because the only thing that I could think of was that he was here. He was here with me. I wasn't alone--I didn't feel the dreadfully consuming fear. "Colton...you're here..." A reassuring squeeze wrapped my hand. "Of course love. I'll always be here." "Hmmmm...mera hero..." • • • The content displayed contains strong use of language and violent themes. For mature audiences. HR: #10 (09/11/2018)#13 (08/22/18) #14 (08/21/2018)(09/08/2018) #18 (03/23/2017) "No!" Zayn shouted. He was pale as if he had seen a ghost. Eyes wide, lips parted, hair disheveled and hands raised towards her. Salma took a step towards the edge. "Stop! Get down!" "Don't come near me," she warned. It was a broad, three-foot ledge but how far could she cross it to escape him? The parking lot was a long way down - a dark abyss. Salma felt movement behind her. She stepped away from the edge and turned her attention on Zayn again, but she was already too slow. He had grabbed a handful of her abaya. Salma tugged at it to set it free. "Get down!" Zayn demanded, his voice frantic. "Let me go!" "Just get down!" "No, you --" "JUST GET THE FU--" "-- back off first!" "--DOWN FROM THE LEDGE!" Salma's left heel dipped. She had not realized she had been backing away as she argued with him. Startled by the sudden vacuum, her upper body reacted by jerking forward. Her arms flailed as she lost her balance. Her heart jumped to mouth. She was going to fall to her death. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Passed down the family, the weight of a centuries-old trust was placed upon Salma Rahman when she was only two. The little Sthooriy girl from Oochath tribe has now grown up into a smart, passionate, but a very stubborn young lady who lives a happy, though sheltered life. Having picked an unexpected interest in bees, she has her eyes set on becoming an entomologist. Everything seems to work out, until an accident befalls her on her way to a camping trip, and her only companion in the desolate wild, Zayn Harris, strikes her like a bolt from blue. Old conspiracies resurface, new enemies are made. She's attacked left, right and center, and in the middle of it all, he insists on taking her on a ride to get lost.
